The place to just be
Beachfront Farmstay is a third generation Dairy Farm, milking 500 cows daily. Over the last few years Russell has been increasing the pasture area with some challenging land development. We have 3 friendly farm dogs, Jess, Bell and Sam, and one cat, named PQ.
The Blueduck Valley, settled by Russell’s Grandfather in 1910, is 8kms South East of the home farm, 300 hectares total area, 100 hectares in Native forest. The valley is 8kms long with a clear stony river running through and surrounded by Rimu and Beech trees. Here elk and the young dairy stock graze.
